Well compared to the surrounding areas, it has been. I guess that is what I was running off of.
Well we just had some strong t-storms come through last night. Meant I woke up every like few hours to them. Also got a call from my gf telling me that she and the lady she is living with down in New Mexico have evacuated due to a fire near Los Alamos. So I have been worried about her all night as well... Plus I am supposed to go down there this weekend. Luckily because she is working at Los Alamos National Lab and it is important, there is a TON of resources being devoted to stopping this fire. Which is good. Hopefully they get it contained soon.

wow sorry to hear about that--hope they get it contained quickly!
I remember when I was living in Boise (during one of their droughts) and one of the fires could be seen from the back of the bank building I was working in--we went out on break and watched the red foot hills glow with the fire..it was pretty spooky.....not close enough for us to leave, so we just went back to work! (we worked 2nd shift so it was dark out)
That was close enough for me.....never want to get that close again.
so hope you hear good news soon!

Ya she is okay RR, thanks. It is kind of scary though. I'm supposed to fly down this weekend so hopefully the fires don't mess with my flight plans... She is now headed to Albuquerque with some of her associates from the lab. It is growing and fast though. Luckily Albuquerque is 80 miles away so the fire won't reach there but the smoke might... It is a bad situation for sure. Keeping her and all others down there in your thoughts and prayers would be much appreciated...

most of the catholic schools around where I lived in hs are HUGE---(chicago, yeah go figure)...so its the 'other' religion schools that were small.....I used to remember seeing the catholic girls in their plaid skirts waiting for the bus.....even in winter they had to wear those horrible things (glad my hs didnt have that kind of dress code!)....shivers (really--they werent that thick of a material).
ah steak for dinner....

It is my nephews birthday today, he turned 5, so we just had some takeout from a local place. Gondola (sub as they call it but the same thing as an Avanti's gondola), spaghetti, garlic bread, etc.
Gf is still in the same place as yesterday... The fire is now up to 60,000+ acres and is still not contained though from the updates I have been reading, they are closer to getting some fronts contained...

Nope, religion and school/education together is forbidden in Denmark, so we just have a school, nothing else. ofc it's only for public schools, private schools decides themselves
And ofcourse at age 16-18, you can take a college degree or whatever it's called.

It is pretty bad. According to last nights report they have it 3% contained which I guess is an improvement from 0%... But just not enough.
I love gondolas but I haven't had a steak in ages. So I would have traded. Just saying.
I wasn't saying the school you referenced was a Catholic school Azzer, just pointing out that over here they are normally Catholic schools with such small grad classes. And some schools out in the way boonies.

Well I'll probably make another post or two but in 12 hours I'll be at the airport getting ready to board my flight. Flying to Dallas-Fort Worth then into Albuquerque. Going to be a long day.
